ein sehr kleines dorf. in dutschland würde man sagen: dort wo fuchs und hase sich gute nacht sagen.

Ist die englische Version eines Kuhkaffs, also ein winziger Ort an dem überhaupt nichts los ist.

Soweit ich weiß, ist das ein kleiner Ort wo einfach nix los ist und nie etwas Aufregendes passiert. Auf deutsch würde man wohl sagen, da ist Tote Hose.

This is the name given to describe a small town with high unemployment. These towns are said to be very common in Wales, but are also found in Ireland, and Scotland where education is very limited.
Also a name given to a town that has a small population.
